Delivery and Shipping

Orders within the Netherlands will be delivered by DHL or PostNL. We use other delivery services for international deliveries. For a complete overview of delivery services and delivery times, please see this section.

All standard products in the webshop, with a Dutch delivery address, that you order on weekdays before 9 p.m. will be shipped that day and delivered to your home the next day, with the exception of the Wadden Islands.

Different delivery times apply to personalized, production-on-demand products (products we manufacture specifically for you). Production-on-demand products are produced and shipped within 4 to 6 business days. Read more about product personalization and/or production-on-demand in the sections below.

If your order includes both standard and personalized or production-on-demand products (products we manufacture specifically for you), you will receive these in a separate delivery. This may mean that the delivery time for these personalized/production-on-demand products differs from the delivery time for the standard products.

We also rely on the services of DHL and PostNL. As soon as your order has been shipped, you'll receive a confirmation with a Track & Trace code, which you can use to track your shipment. In this section, you'll find more information about tracking your shipment, including an overview of delivery times and costs.

If you're not home when your package arrives, the courier will leave a card or send an email with more information about where your order is, how to pick it up, or how to reschedule your delivery. If you have your order's Track & Trace code, you can track it online.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation once your order is shipped. This confirmation also includes the track & trace information you can use to track your order online. You can also find the link to your order's track & trace in your account under "My Orders."

You pay €4.95 in shipping costs if your order total is less than €100. All orders over €100 are delivered free of charge. For shipping costs outside the Netherlands, you'll find an overview of shipping to countries, costs, and services in this section.

For security reasons, we can't change your delivery address after you've placed your order. But don't worry – if you're not home during delivery, the courier will leave a card with information about where you can pick up your order or how to reschedule your delivery.

Unfortunately, it's not yet possible to have your order delivered to a collection point. Integrating this is on our roadmap, but unfortunately, we can't offer it yet.

If you ordered one or more items but didn't receive them, your order may have been delivered in multiple packages. This is often the case, for example, if your order also contains personalized and/or production-on-demand products. You can then find the different shipments in your account.

If this isn't the case, please contact our customer service. We're happy to help.

To use these services, you must place your order before 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday. Orders placed after 9:00 PM on Thursday and before 9:00 PM on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed after 9:00 PM on Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday.*

This service does not apply to Production on Demand/personalized products. These products are custom-made for you and take 4-6 business days.

As soon as we ship your order from our warehouse, we'll send you an email with the tracking link so you can track your package. You can also log in to your account, go to your orders, and check your tracking there.

*We always do our utmost to meet these delivery times. However, during busy periods, it may sometimes take a little longer for your order to arrive. During technical updates or force majeure situations such as extreme weather, certain delivery services may be unavailable or delivery times may need to be adjusted. We always try to minimize these temporary changes as much as possible.

If your order includes both standard products and personalized and/or production-on-demand products, it will be shipped from different partners. In this case, you will therefore receive different tracking emails and codes. It's also possible that your order will be shipped and delivered in installments.

You can return items within 28 days of receipt. If you wish to return all or part of your order, you can do so through our returns portal.
Please have your order number and email address handy to access them and follow the steps to register and arrange your return.

Yes, until the items arrive at our warehouse, they are your responsibility. We recommend always requesting proof of postage when sending your package to us, in case anything goes wrong during transport.

It can take up to 7 business days for us to receive your return (this excludes weekends and public holidays).

Once your return has been received in good order by our warehouse, we'll refund your money and send you an email to let you know. If you're returning multiple items from a single order or items from different orders in a single package, it may take up to 24 hours for all items to be processed.

If you haven't received an email or refund after the above timeframe, please contact our customer service. Please include your original order number, which items you returned, when you returned them, and your tracking number or proof of shipment.

When you drop off a return shipment at a PostNL or DHL parcel point, you will receive a Track & Trace code that allows you to track your shipment from the parcel point to our returns center.

Once we have received and processed your return, you will receive a return confirmation by email.

If you haven't received an email from us two weeks after returning your order, please contact our customer service. We're happy to help.

Your return shipping costs will only be refunded in certain circumstances. For example, if your entire order is damaged or incorrect, or if your entire order has been cancelled.

To be clear, we're referring to shipping costs here, not return shipping costs. These are your responsibility, unless we are at fault.

We're sorry if you received a damaged item. Please contact our customer service so we can resolve this. Please provide as much detail as possible about the defect so we can process your claim more efficiently and quickly (order number, damage, etc.).

Have you already worn the product? Please note that all items are inspected in our warehouse. If there is any evidence of wear or use, you may not receive a full refund.

We apologize if we sent you an item that you did not order!
Please contact our customer service and let us know that the item is incorrect, so we can arrange a return and a new item for you.

Was your order shipped in multiple parts?

Please check your email inbox to see if some items will be delivered separately. Personalized, production-on-demand products are shipped separately from standard products.

If your order was shipped in parts, you can see on the form which items are included in the different packages.

Is an article still missing?

Please contact our customer service within 30 days of the expected delivery date and let us know your order number and which item is missing so we can resolve this for you as quickly as possible.

We get it, sometimes something just doesn't work for you and you want a refund. As long as an item is still in its original condition, we accept returns, subject to the rules below. None of these rules affect your statutory rights.

If you return an item within 14 days of receipt, we will give you a full refund for the items via your original payment method.

We aim to refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

If you request a refund for an item during the above timeframes, but for some reason you cannot return it to us, please contact us.

Then?

We do not accept returns for unwanted items after the return period stated above. If you attempt to return the items, we may have to send them back to your original address and ask you to pay the shipping costs.

Personalized Production on Demand products

Personalized, on-demand products cannot be returned unless the customer has legal rights to do so. Read more about personalized, on-demand products below.

Original condition

Of course, it's fine to try on an item as you would in a store, but please don't wear it. If an item is returned to us damaged, worn, or in an unsuitable condition, we cannot refund you and may have to send it back to you (and ask you to pay for shipping). All returned items are inspected. To receive a full refund, all items must be returned to us in the same condition as you received them, unworn/unused, and with the original packaging and all tags attached (for example, shoes should be returned with the original shoebox).

Responsibility

Returned items are your responsibility until they reach us, so make sure they're properly packaged and won't get damaged in transit! Always ask for proof of postage, in case you need to contact us about this.

Fair use

If we notice an unusual pattern of returns that doesn't seem right—for example, if we suspect someone is actually wearing their purchases and then returning them, or ordering and returning them—we may need to deactivate the account and all associated accounts. If this happens to you and you think we've made a mistake, please contact customer service so we can discuss it.

By law, we are required to include the following text on our page. While it may be a bit confusing, we want to assure you that this text does not affect our returns policy. However, there are additional requirements for invoking this policy, which you can read here.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form (PDF) included in the Terms and Conditions , but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of revocation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. If you only return part of your order, you will not be reimbursed the costs of delivery. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized production on demand products.

Ordering and Payment

You can pay for your order securely with the following payment methods: iDEAL, MasterCard, or VISA.

If you'd like to pay with iDEAL, you can choose this option during the third step of the ordering process on the "Payment" page. If you choose iDEAL, you'll be redirected to your bank's payment environment during the payment process. With this payment method, your payment will be debited from your account immediately.

To pay with iDEAL, follow these steps from the point where you choose your payment method:

  • Select your bank
  • Click 'Next'
  • You will be redirected to your bank's payment environment
  • Complete your payment here

Don't forget to return to the TeamNL.shop website after your payment. Your order will be completed there, and you'll see a confirmation of your payment.

If you'd like to pay by credit card, you can choose this option during the third step of the ordering process on the "Payment" page. We accept MasterCard and Visa. To pay securely with your credit card, follow these steps once you've selected your payment method:

Your credit card information is encrypted using SSL. This high security standard makes purchasing with a credit card at TeamNL.shop very safe.

We take your security very seriously, so rest assured that your payment information is always safe with us. To better protect our customers when paying online, you may see a 3D Secure security step. This depends on your bank, and they may ask you to enter a password or you may receive a security code via email or phone. Click here for more information about 3D Secure.

Do you have a discount code you'd like to use? You can enter it during checkout when ordering.

Click "Pay with promo code" during the checkout process and enter your code. After entering the discount code, a message will appear on the screen indicating that the discount code has been successfully processed or explaining why it wasn't processed.

Once the discount is processed, the discount amount will be deducted from the total price. The discount amount is also displayed separately.

Want to remove the discount code? Click the cross next to the discount code.

Please note that each discount code has specific conditions that the order must meet before the discount is applied to the order.

You can use a maximum of one discount code per order.

Discount codes have a limited validity period

The discount code may be subject to certain conditions, such as (for example) certain categories, products, or minimum/maximum order value.

In case you return your order, your discount code will not automatically be valid again for the next order.

Once you've found a product you like and it's available in your size, you can add it to your shopping cart by clicking "Add to cart." Once the product is added, you'll receive a confirmation message "Product added to cart" below the button. You can then continue shopping for more great products or go directly to your shopping cart to order the item.

Here you will find an overview of all products you have placed in your shopping cart and the total amount.

The ordering process

Is everything correct? Click "I want to order" to place your order. In the first step of the ordering process, on the "Details" page, you'll be asked to enter your address information. If you already have an account, you can log in after entering your email address, and your saved profile information will be filled in automatically.

If you've entered the information correctly, a green "v" will appear as confirmation. If the information is incorrect, you'll see a red cross and an error message. Once you've entered all the information correctly, you can click "Go to delivery" to choose your delivery method.

In the second stage of the ordering process, you can select your delivery method and the associated costs. Once you've selected your delivery option, click "I want to pay" to proceed to the final stage of the ordering process: payment.

In the final step of the ordering process, "Payment," you can choose your payment method. You can choose from the options listed. Please note that each option includes any relevant information about additional costs.

How to proceed after ordering?

Shortly after placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email with your order number. We'll also send you an email when your shipment leaves our warehouse. This email includes a tracking code so you can follow your package's progress. For more information about tracking your order, click here.

You can also always check the status of your order in (your) My Account.

It may take a few minutes for the confirmation email to arrive in your inbox. It's also possible it's being blocked by your email program's spam filter.

We recommend checking your spam filter settings and adjusting them if necessary. If you're having trouble, please contact our customer service team; we're happy to help.

We process your order very quickly, so once it's placed, you can no longer change it. This also applies to the delivery method, delivery address, or payment method.

What can you do? As long as your item hasn't shipped yet, you can contact us so we can try to cancel the shipment and order.

If this doesn't work, you can always return it within the return period. You'll receive your money back after we've processed your return.

First, try deleting your cookies and then try again. If this doesn't work, please contact us , and we'll be happy to help.

European regulations are changing to make paying by credit card more secure. For every order placed after January 1, 2021, you may be asked to verify your payment with 3D Secure. The name for this verification method depends on the type of card you're paying with. Examples include Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check, and American Express SafeKey.

What should I do?

If you haven't already done so, you'll need to register your payment card for 3D Secure. Most banks allow you to do this online. Check your bank's website for more information.

If you've previously signed up for 3D Secure or used it before, you don't need to enroll again. However, your bank may have implemented a new process to improve your payment experience. For example, some banks have specifically designed a new smartphone app. Contact your bank for more information.

To ensure you can pay for your next order easily and securely, we highly recommend setting up 3D Secure for your next credit card purchase.

Once your payment method is approved, the amount will be debited immediately and you will then receive an email confirming that your order has been successfully placed.

If your payment method could not be validated, the amount will not be debited from your account and we will send you an email to let you know that your bank or credit card provider could not authorize the amount.

Please note that even if a payment could not be authorized, it may appear as if TeamNL.shop has debited the amount, even though this is not the case. This is because some banks temporarily set the amount aside. The amount should be back in your account within 10 business days.

Production on Demand

Production On Demand, also known as POD for short, stands for production to order ! In other words, we only start producing the product once you've ordered it. This has many advantages for both you and us. It allows us to tailor the product entirely to your specifications, and it saves us from having to keep thousands of variants in stock.

Besides the advantages of choosing colors, sizes, and sports designs, you can also add your own text, such as your name, number, initials, or the name of your club. Some products even include your sports club's logo. In short, you always have a unique product!

Yes, thanks to the use of the latest state-of-the-art techniques developed in the Netherlands, you can see the entire product in 3D before ordering . You'll also see a preview image of what your product will look like on the product page, in your shopping cart, and during the ordering process. After designing and placing the order, the production process is initiated automatically, minimizing the chance of errors.

As soon as we receive your order, we'll immediately start making your products. Products are typically delivered within 5 to 7 business days. During peak sales periods, this may take a little longer. If this is the case, we'll clearly communicate this on our website.

Once the on-demand products are made especially for you, they will be shipped directly to your specified delivery address and you will receive a confirmation email with track and trace.

Yes, although the benefits are disproportionate. For example, we need up to a few business days to "produce" your custom product. And, unless there's a mistake on our part, you can't return it because we made it especially for you. The product might be a bit more expensive than a mass-produced product, but you get something unique in return.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your product, so we only use the highest quality products. We also value sustainability, which is why we're big fans of on-demand production, as we only produce what's needed. To ensure high-quality products, we use the latest and most advanced technology.

Certainly, we only use materials and production techniques that meet all environmental requirements.

Once you've personalized and ordered your product, your design is sent as a print file to the direct-to-garment printer. The correct product is placed in the printer, and your design is printed onto it using the latest, most advanced digital-to-garment technology.

Direct-to-garment

Direct-to-garment printing (DTG) is a textile printing process using specialized aqueous inkjet technology. DTG printers typically have a printing plate designed to hold the garment in a fixed position, and the printer inks are jetted onto the fabric by the print head. DTG typically requires the garment to be pretreated with a PTM or pre-treatment machine, which allows for the following:

  • A stronger bond between the garment's fibers and the pigmented inks
  • Loose fibers are laid down for a smoother substrate
  • Chemically reacts with the inks to promote drying and curing

Since this is a digital process, the print is sharper and has a higher resolution, or DPI, than traditional printing methods like screen printing. Unlike screen printing, however, there's no lengthy setup or cleanup process, and DTG allows for printing just a single shirt at minimal cost.

Printing process

DTG printers use aqueous textile inks (water-based chemistry) that require a unique curing process. Since D2 inks are water-based, they work best for printing on natural fibers like cotton, bamboo, hemp, and linen. Furthermore, the garment is usually pretreated before printing. The pretreatment is pressed into the T-shirt with heat, setting the fibers. Pretreatment also ensures that the water-based ink adheres better to the garment. This is especially important when using white ink on dark garments.

Once the garment—for example, a T-shirt—has undergone the appropriate pre-treatment, it is placed on a platen system designed to hold it in place. The shirt is then digitally printed according to the design in the printer's queue.
